A leading organization in the downstream oil and gas industry is seeking a competent and detail-oriented Assistant Workshop Manager to support the effective management of its vehicle and equipment maintenance operations.
• Assist the Workshop Manager in overseeing daily workshop operations and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance of trucks, tankers, and other operational vehicles.
• Supervise technicians and mechanics to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and to standard.
• Ensure adherence to HSE policies, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, spare parts inventory, and job cards.
• Support breakdown response, fault diagnosis, and timely repairs to minimize downtime.
• Liaise with transport, operations, and procurement units on maintenance needs.
• Monitor workshop tools, equipment, and housekeeping standards.
